Careful planning goes into every litter we produce. We breed for ourselves, intending to improve our breeding program with every litter. We usually keep one or two puppies from each litter; the rest are sold as pets and hunting companions.
Before breeding any of our dogs, we get their hips and elbows evaluated and certified by The Orthopedic Foundation For Animals (OFA). We have eyes and hearts evaluated by veterinary specialists in those fields. We also require these clearances of the dogs that we breed to. This is all done to breed healthy, structurally sound dogs.
In addition to health and structure, we consider mental and temperamental soundness of dogs we choose to breed. We intend to breed dogs that have the intelligence and desire to be hunting dogs, the personality to be show dogs, as well as being easy to live with companions. None of this happens by accident; but, only with a lot of effort in the planning stages.
We do not sell puppies over the internet. We do not ship puppies. Buyers of our puppies will meet us, and our dogs in person before any sale occurs, and will pick up their puppies from our home.
Puppies Available We do not have any puppies available at this time
Adult Dogs for sale At times, we may have adult or "older than puppies" available. This may be because a puppy we kept doesn't turn out to be a show dog; or, it may be that we decide to retire a dog from showing, hunt tests, or from our breeding program. While we love these dogs, and they could live with us forever, we feel that a loving home, where they can be the only dog often suits them better.
